Issues Identification Framework Session
OT AUSTRALIA Victoria - Workforce and Professional Issues (WPI) Committee
Lunch Time Event: Friday, 12 November 12.45 – 1. 25pm
Venue: Harrison A, MCG
The Issues Identification Framework has been developed by the WPI to provide a consistent and transparent way to identify issues and requests from members about matters impacting on their professional practice. As well as, the framework will provide the Association with a format to plan for and organize support for solutions to the issues.
The WPI committee will be using the State Conference to launch the Issues Identification Framework and provide members with the opportunity to see in the Framework in action.
Many of us can identify specific issues that effect the development and provision of OT services in own practice setting. The Framework will outline how each practice issue can be; prioritized, communicate with relevant stakeholders and if appropriate, develop a formal strategy to address professional issues. This will be a useful tool to assit to the Association in becoming more proactive about issues
The Framework will be a bonus to the Association as it will articulate very clearly the core issue(s), the relevant stakeholders, the key government or funders involved.
So come along and learn more - as well as launching the Issues Identification Framework, it will be put into practice on the day, as you contribute by informing the association of your issue and then help work towards some collective solutions
